Apple is said to be planning to offer customers more choices with the launch of its next-generation iPhone, including multiple colors and sizes, with an earlier-than-expected debut in the May-June timeframe.

Analyst Brian White of Topeka Capital Markets said in a note to investors Wednesday that his checks within the industry have indicated the so-called “iPhone 5S” will come in a variety of colors beyond the current black and white. He expects that the next iPhone will be available in a total of eight colors: the pink, yellow, blue, green, purple, silver and slate shades currently found on the iPod nano, and a (Product)Red model with proceeds benefiting AIDS research.

Annalists predictions are more speculation than inside information. We don’t believe that Apple will change the size of the iPhone as they have just changed it with the iPhone 5 and we doubt they will bring a cheaper phone to market. As it stands Apple discounts previous models of the iPhone that come free of some contracts.

We find the colours to be an interesting discussion although we don’t think it will happen we thought we would put it out there are see what you have to say. Answer the question at the top in the sidebar.

I dont think the various colours are going to be the next big thing for the iPhone (think about it, almost all of us use covers, so what would be the point really?), apple need to think out of the box if they hope to maintain higher sales records than samsung. Also their latest blunder with Maps shows that current innovations arent perfected yet. Perhaps Apple should be looking at revisiting the original reasons the Apple brand became a world wide hit, their core market of the Mac's. Maybe some of that ingenuity in that direction would make all iPhone users (potential and existing) very hungry.
